Here are the magazines I have bought recently, they are definitely worth spending a little money on if you are looking for Christmas designs and the free gifts with them are great.
I fell in love with these little christmas hearts when I saw them in Enjoy Cross Stitch and just had to make them. In the magazine they were done on white aida but my local craft shop did not have any in so I went for the sparkly gold fleck, I think it really works with the Christmas theme.
Lots more to do I want to make all my Christmas decorations this year.
I'm still undecided on what to do with these, I may frame them and hang them on the wall or turn them into baubles for the tree.

These are adorable! I think they'll be perfect on a tree :) Really anything you do with them I'm sure will be lovely!

ReplyDeleteI have bought most of these too and I am currenly on with the gingerbread man from the second magazine using the metallic thread. I was not terribly impressed with the cake band freebie were you?

The cake band is not my favourite freebie but I have to admit I've not started making it as there are so many other things that have taken my interest.
ReplyDeleteI do love the metallic designs though especially the gingerbread man and will be making some of those a soon as I finish the hearts. One of the magazines has a lovely apron but sadly I don't think I have the time to finish it for Christmas this year and get everything else done that I want to.
